Our private practice for gynecology and obstetrics focuses on in-depth consultations, thorough
diagnostics, and comprehensive treatment. (Information for self-paying patients.)
We offer the following services:
From age 20
An annual Pap smear for the early detection of cervical cancer is one of the recommended
preventive examinations for women. In our practice, we offer conventional cytology and ThinPrep
examinations.
A breast examination is also part of the annual preventive care.
From age 35
A Pap smear for the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is recommended every three years. We also
offer this service in our practice.
From age 40
In addition, a breast ultrasound is a useful preventive service from age 40 onwards to detect
small, non-palpable changes early. If there is a family history of breast cancer, an ultrasound may
be performed earlier. Breast discomfort can also often be clarified promptly with ultrasound
Furthermore, you can have an ultrasound of the ovaries and uterus performed as part of your
preventive examination in my practice
From age 50
From age 50, women are recommended to have an immunological stool test. We offer this test.
We will discuss which preventive examinations and at what intervals are appropriate for you in a
personal consultation.
Before planning a pregnancy, many women want an examination and consultation regarding
nutrition, vitamins and essential nutrients, lifestyle, and personal health risks.
In a detailed consultation, you and your partner can ask all questions you may have.
I also support you if pregnancy does not occur. The investigation of possible causes is carried out
using a gynecological examination, ultrasound, and laboratory tests.
After evaluating the results, I will advise you on the next necessary steps.
Pregnancy Care
We provide sensitive and expert support to you and your partner throughout the special time of
pregnancy. Every pregnancy is unique and deserves individualized care. We strive to consider your wishes, physical condition, and individual risk profile.
Our pregnancy care services include:
Depending on your stage of life and physical condition, different contraceptive methods are
appropriate. We will discuss your current wishes and needs together.
IUD insertions can be performed within short time
As a mother of two grown up daughters, advising and supporting teenagers and young women is
particularly important to me.
Incontinence, meaning involuntary urine loss, is a taboo subject, even though statistically 25% of
all women in Germany suffer from it.
There are many causes, they range from age and strain on the pelvic floor due to pregnancies or
heavy physical labor to internal medical and neurological conditions. Since there are two different forms of incontinence, a thorough assessment of the symptoms and a physical examination are necessary first. The individual therapy is then determined based on the findings.
Should special examinations or surgical procedures be required, these will be performed at a
certified pelvic floor center.
Menopause marks a hormonal shift in a woman’s body. The ovaries cease hormone production. For many women, this transition presents a challenge both physically and mentally and is often
associated with numerous so-called menopausal symptoms.
In addition to the classic and most common symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances,
and irregular bleeding, muscle and joint pain, depression, difficulty concentrating, decreased
performance, and many other symptoms can also occur.
I will take the time to discuss your symptoms and provide you with comprehensive advice so that
you can begin this new phase of your life well.
Preventive medicine focuses on identifying individual risk factors – for example, genetic
predisposition, family history, individual lifestyle, and living conditions.
